Gail A. (Geiszler) Martin, age 64, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 surrounded by her family after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on July 20, 1953 in Everett, WA to Reuben and Agnes Geiszler and lived in Woodinville for much of her life. She was a 1971 graduate of Bothell High School. Gail went on to graduate from WSU and UW and worked for the Department of Social and Health Services for over 25 years. Gail married Dale Martin on Valentine's day in 1981.
Gail enjoyed holding get-togethers and wine tastings with friends and family, attending live music events, camping, spending time with her cats, organizing family vacations, and especially being a grandmother. Gail had an unforgettable laugh and always found ways to brighten the room with her great sense of humor. Gail went the extra mile to raise her two daughters, from serving as a Girl Scout troop leader, attending Husky games, to travelling abroad, and to fulfill the role as grandma to Rubén. She and her grandson spent many days at the fair, beach, parks, flying kites, swimming, singing songs, and having sleepovers. Gail valued keeping traditions alive at the family home and always making friends feel welcome.
Left to honor and remember Gail are her husband and two daughters, Tracy (Dana) Weber and Tara Martin (Noé Mayorga) and grandson Rubén; her sisters Kathy Geiszler and Maureen Naatus, and brother Dan Geiszler.
