Gary Fredrick Johnson, longtime Seattle resident passed away on December 6th at this home in West Seattle at the age of 75. He was born in Ballard and graduated from Ballard High School in 1959. He was married to Rosalie Ventoza and had three children and four grandchildren.
Gary worked in the Sheet Metal Fabrication industry throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Gary’s passion was fishing with his Father Ivar Johnson on the Pacific Ocean and on the inland waters of the Puget Sound. Gary is survived by his three children, Randal Johnson (Seattle), Valerie Johnson-Hyman (Lacy) and Rachelle Johnson-Piehl (Renton). And also by his four grand children Breanne Piehl (Boston), Wade Piehl (Covington), Gina Piehl (Renton) and Jacob Hymen (Lacy).
