Gloria Brooks-Jenkins

She grew up in Stringtown, Mississippi. And in high school she ran track and was in the newspaper for her phenomenal basketball skills. Gloria had her first born Dwayne, then moved to Seattle where she had Devina. Gloria moved back to Mississippi for a short period of time. She returned to Seattle once again had Derrell and Delana.

Gloria met her dear Husband Charles Edward Jenkins and they got married on March 10th, 2000. She attended Full Gospel Pentecostal Federated Church. Where she got saved and gave her life to Jesus on May 7 2000.

Gloria drove the church van, sung in the choir and was leader of the Usher board. She also went on fishing trips, and fried the fish for the Church and Community Fish Fry. Gloria worked at Aetna for many years.

She received her Customer service representative completion January 18th 1996, and Early Childhood Education Degree December 16 2004 both at Renton Technical College. Which she later pursued her own career of owning a daycare.

Gloria opened her daycare business in 2013 called, “Mychild Daycare”. Gloria loved serving God. Spending time with family and loved ones, fishing, traveling, feeding the community, and shopping.

Gloria leaves behind her Husband Charles Edward Jenkins, children Dwayne, Devina, Derrell, and Delana. Bonus children Marcel, Cory, Jerry .And her grandchildren Caleb, Immanuel ,Caitlyn, Dwayne Jr, Micah, Trinity, Kingston, and Deangelo. Gloria provided love, a home, and a plate for anyone in need. And she will be truly missed.
