

Gloria was born August 23, 1931 in Clarkston, Washington to Harry and Hazel Nickerson. She was the eldest of five children. Her family lived in Bend, Oregon for a short time and later relocated to Edmonds, Washington. She had three sons during her first marriage, and then later another son and a daughter.
She raised her family in Seattle and shared forty two years of her life with Mr. Mark Brown, whom she married. She had a great love for reading, enjoying nature and a passion for collecting owls. She touched many lives throughout her life. She was gracious, loving, full of laughter and kindness. She was predeceased by her parents and younger brother, Phillip Nickerson.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Brown; children: Nick Pugh, Roger Pugh, Ken Pugh, Randy Pugh (Lynn), Shelia McDonald-Starrett and step-daughter Tina Edwards; grandchildren: Robert, Teresa, Tony, Julie, Chris, Phillip, Athina, Corey, Dana, Nickolina, Jessie, Angie, Randy Jr., Ryan, Marcus, Katie and Jordan; step-grandchildren: Florida, Mark, Sly, Ophelia and Tracy; great grandchildren: Joshua, Rachael, Nathanel, Crystal, Tabitha, Anthony, Ashlynn S., Stone, Elizabeth, Evit, Wiley, Nicholas, Austin, Julian, Yleana, Elias and Ashlynn P.; her siblings: Hazel McGoldrick (Larry), Maudean Keans and Claude Nickerson (Linda); nieces and nephews: Linda, Robert, Robert K., Rick, Rene, Michael and Christopher, in addition to a host of great nieces/nephews and cousins.
