Greg was born on January 7, 1961 in Bakersfield, CA. the son of Bill & Marlene Walker.
Greg Graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Seattle WA. as part of the 1979 Graduating Class. After graduation Greg attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg WA. Later, he took classes at UCLA. In addition to his general studies Greg loved music and began working at live concerts with the lighting and sound systems. He enjoyed theater from high school to college and after as both a part of the cast, behind the scenes and as a seat bearing love of the arts. He also loved playing both electric and acoustic guitar. In his youth Greg excelled at all of the sports that he loved, Baseball, Football and Skiing. At the age of 13, Greg was selected to represent the United States as a member of a U.S.A. Baseball Team that travelled throughout Europe playing and introducing the game in multiple countries.
Greg’s talents were many, and he was able to become extremely accomplished in multiple career paths. In addition to music and construction he was always up for an adventure, which eventually led him to Dutch Harbor Alaska where he spent time as a commercial fisherman in the Bearing Sea. Unfortunately, while Greg was working in construction, he suffered a devastating injury in a fall that resulted in his being disabled and prevented him from continuing to work. Greg was a very caring man and a good soul, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his Sister: Danette Johnson of Snohomish WA., his Brother: John Walker of Madison WI., as well as an extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews spread throughout the States of Arizona, Alaska, Washington, California, Wyoming, Wisconsin and North Carolina.
