

Harold Bud Fauska, 94, of Bothell, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. He was born June 20, 1921 in Glendale County, Wisconsin, the son of the late Albert John and Lena Louise (Gernetzke) Fauska. Bud married Eustine Olive (Loomis) on November 24, 1944 in Bothell, WA. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2015. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Bud was on the Boundary Review Board, Caucus Chairman and Fire Commissioner with Snohomish County. He was a United States Navy veteran in WWII. He was a nuclear physicist at the Nuclear Physics Lab at the University Of Washington for 25 years where he retired as the assist director. Bud is survived by daughter, Elsie Wells and husband Terry; son, John Fauska and wife Char; six grandchildren, Clarisa Fauska (Jo & Nel), Joe Wells and wife Pepper, Bonnie Smith and husband Todd, Kristy Jenkins, Terry Wells, Jr. and wife Kathy and Brian Fauska and wife Amy; nine great grandchildren, Alex and Josh Lomans, Thomas and Nick Jenkins, Jacob, Tyler and Bennett Wells, Jaden Smith and Olive Fauska ; foster children Bill Ellis, Patty Morey, and Gayle Ellis. Bud was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Fauska; brother, Irwin Fauska and a foster daughter, Carol Helferstein.
