Age 86, passed away on April 11, 2007 in Bothell, Washington. He was born March 18, 1921 to William C. Romig and Mary Marie Tomec in Cleveland, Ohio. He married Rita Marie Moussiaux on March 21, 1953. They made their home in Bothell for forty-six years. Harold served as a Technical Sergeant in the US Army and retired from the reserves in 1981. His decorations included the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, American Theater Medal in Alaska, Good Conduct Medal, and the Victory Medal. Harold worked for the US Government as an auditor on contracts and retired in 1975. He joined NARFE in 1972 and wrote the local chapter newsletter for almost twenty years 1978-2006. He was preceded in deth by his wife Rita and his brother Gordon Romig. Survivors include his sons Kenneth and Gary Romig, and sister-in-law Dorothy.
