Harry Twitchell Carver III, 91, of Everett, passed away at his home April 16, 2022. He was born Dec 7, 1930, in Detroit, MI., to Harry Twitchell Jr. and Jeanette Mawbray Hine Carver. Harry grew up attending schools in MI, CA, MT and CO. He graduated from Farragut Academy, NJ then entered the Merchant Marines and traveled the world. He severed in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the USCGC Androscoggin. After graduating from USC he was employed with the U.S. Treasury as a bank examiner where he did extensive traveling and claimed that he had been to all 50 states before retiring. He and Tena VanderHoek were married for 50 years before her passing. He enjoyed many years of traveling, gardening and vacationing while settling in the Mukilteo and Everett area. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his sister Betty (Bob) Melcolm, son Barry, nieces Laura, Sharon and nephews David, Larry and Gary. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 16th, at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home and Cemetery, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, Wa.
