
was born on June 9, 1919 in Everett to Harry and Florence Fowler and was graduated from Marysville High School. He married Ethel Marl prior to entering the Navy, where he served in the Marshal Island Invasion during World War II. Harry and Ethel had three children. Harry was active in the business community in the Everett area all his life until his retirement from real estate in the early 1980's For many years he was active in the Everett Yacht Club, Power Squadron, Everett Elks and the V.F.W.
In 1989 he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ethel, and in 1963 by son, Fred.
He is survived by son, Tim Fowler and wife Randie, daughter, Jennifer McGilvery and husband Mac, both of Everett, seven grandchildren and their spouses, eight great-grandchildren and long-time friend Virginia Baldazar.
Friends and family are invited to join Tim and Jennifer in celebration of Bob's life on Wednesday, December 20th at 1:30 p.m. in the Club House at Lago de Plata, 620 112th St. S.E. Everett. Pastor Mark Saline of Harbor Point Evangelical Lutheran Church will be presiding.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 6315 Fleming Road, Everett. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
