Harry Martin Strand

Born in Bo Vesteralen, Norway on 6/12/1942, at the age of 9 he immigrated with his family to Ballard, WA. Looking for more opportunity than what was available in Norway after WW2.

For the last 20 years, Harry shared his life with his beloved partner Barbara Pearson. He was a devoted father to his seven children, Kari (Strand) Hindmarsh, Evan Strand, Jason Strand, Tylor Strand, Zachary Strand, Kolby Strand and Jakob Strand. He was a loving grandfather to his 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is also remembered by his brother Svein Strand. He held close memories of those who preceded him in death, his parents Marlow and Hanna Strand, his sister-in-law Marlene Strand; his granddaughter Summer Strand; and his daughters Jeciena Lee Strand and Ashley Christina Strand.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle WA.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
