
Age 66, passed away, March 27, 2008, in Seattle, Washington. He was born January 18, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas, but has been a resident of this area since the mid 1950's.
After college at Burkley, Henry enlisted in the Air force and did a four year term. He was honorably discharged in 1965. He went on to own his own construction company. Henry was good at many things but his specialty was welding. He was a welder on an Alaskan Pipe Line and did it well enough to teach his technique to others.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wheeler Sr. and Johnnie Hammond. He is survived by his life partner of 27 years, Sharon Zamalloa. He is, also, survived by daughter, Sherry Watson; step son, Timothy Amanda Brown Sr.; stepdaughters, Tina Donnell Armstrong, Tonya Brown, Tammi Brown; grandchildren, Santeago, DJ, Leondre, Makaila, Crystal, JR, Angelo, Jaylin, Jayla, Timothy Jr., Eddie, Maria, Camellia, and Rebecca; aunts, Alice Cox, Mary Sargeont, Louise Johnson Alphonse, and Ida Mae Evans; nephews, Kenneth Johnson, Micheal Robinson, Sean Robinson, and Timothy Robinson; and a host of loving cousins, great nephews, nieces, and friends.
Henry was an awesome Grandfather whose life revolved around his grandchildren. He was a great father figure to many and a wonderful foster parent, as well.
Henry will, also, be mourned by his large circle of friends and associates.
We are blessed to have been able to have known him. He will be remembered by everyone who knew and loved him. He will be missed by all.
