
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend; passed away at home in Mill Creek at age 69. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children Rose Kennard Michael of Everett, Randall Munson Sharon of Seattle, Rhonda Hagen Randy of Lynnwood; grandchildren Brian Rachel, Rebecca, Adam, Summer, Jeremy, Jennifer, Ryan, Heather, April, Jamie; great-granddaughter Tianna; sisters, Mae Moore and June Macomber; brothers, Harold, Verne, Frank, Carl, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves his precious poodle, Ginger Belle. Herb was a graduate of the UW with an engineering degree. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, woodworking, and photography, and was interested in computers. Herb worked for Honeywell for 28 years as an engineer. After retirement, Herb worked as the family historian for the Thomas Munson Foundation, publishing volumes 3, 4 and 5 of the Munson Family Record. He participated for several years as an active member of the Mill Creek Country Club. Herb was a member of Cascade View Presbyterian Church, where he served as the treasurer until his passing. He was a past Master and secretary of Richland Masonic Lodge #248. Herb always had a ?can do? attitude in life and loved challenging projects. Visitation will be held Friday October 31, 2003 from 10am to 8pm at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle. Memorial service Saturday, November 1, 2003, 1:30pm, Cascade View Presbyterian Church, 1030 E Casino Rd, Everett, WA 98203. Private burial, Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cascade View Presbyterian Church or Evergreen Hospice Services.
