Iona was the last of 4 daughters born to Wallace and Grace Utter-back, Nov 20, 1916 in Mesa, CO. The family eventually moved to Seattle. At 16, she met the handsome Ivan Lewis at a dance andmarried him 2 years later. They were married 49 years, begat 4 loveable children; Gary, Wallace, Carmen and Julianne who begat 15 adorable grandchildren and 18 delectable great grandchildren.
Iona outlived 2 husbands Ivan(1984) James Utterback (2004). She spent the last few weeks of her 92 years with her admiring family by her side with prayers,
stories, cuddles and laughter due to her never ending playful spirit and wit. She died on Valentine's Day in the arms of her 1st granddaughter and compas-
sionate caregiver, Debi Olson.
Sifting through her treasures we found many Bibles, family pictures animal paraphernalia and shoe horns. She loved Jesus, family, animals, shoes and Nordy's shoe salesmen. She loved to flirt! She was so cute! She was special and truly loved.
