93, born in Seattle Washington, fought a courageous battle, and passed away at her home, January 25, 2005 with her daughters at her side. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Benedict and Janis Roth; grandchildren, Kim Benedict Hembree, Colleen Wolf, Sherri Rahm, Max Smith; eight great grandchildren, and was preceded in death by her husband, Reese, and daughter Margaret Smith in 1999. She along with Reese owned and operated Way West Motel for 58 years. Viewing will be held Friday, February 4, 2005 from 12:00 to 8:00pm at Evergreen-Washelli, funeral will follow on Saturday at 12:00 noon.
