Iris L. Clifton, 87, of Seattle, died September 30, 2013 in Burien, WA. She was born October 25, 1925 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Ira Louis and Nina Louise (Foglesong) Dakan. Iris married James A. Clifton. She is survived by her grandson, Derek Clifton, step-daughter, Patricia Harrell, sister, Lois Holly and numerous nieces and nephews. Iris was preceded in death by her husband James who died June 5, 1995 and her daughter, Sherry Clifton who died April 3, 2002. She retired as an adjudicator from the United States Government. Iris enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and playing the slot machines.
