Born September 21, 1922 in Steeleville, IL. Passed away January 3, 2002 in Seattle, WA. Irvin proudly served in the US Navy on the USS Yorktown and USS California during WWII. He was recalled to duty during the Korean War. Irvin was employed with Puget Power for 40 years. Preceded in death by his parents, eight sisters, one brother and one grandson. Survived by his wife of 57 years Dorothy Bierman; daughters Mary Ron Barton, Diana Pete Smith, Patricia Jim Schweigert, Betty Coller and Kathryn Vessey; son William Bierman; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 5, 2002 10:00am at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home. 11111 Aurora Ave. N. Seattle.
