"Handsome Jaime," 69, fought the fight of his life but lost his battle with cancer on June 29, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 8, 1941 to Pedro Jandusay and Victoria Ojales in Lucena City, Quezon Province, in the Philippines, but has been a long-time resident of Lynnwood, Washington. He worked for Eldec Corporation from 1980 to 2002, when he retired.
Jaime is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charito Medina; children Ramon (Lisa), Rafael, Belinda (Ayie), Jaime, Jr. (Heather) and Sylvia; grandchildren Derrick, Justin, Dominique, Ciara and Kyler; siblings Joven (Linda), Estrellita (Leo), Evelyn, Nestor (Rona), Cesar (Ning), and Chona (Demy); cousins Josie (Sonny), Ding and Dely (Jun) and nieces and nephews.
With his great wide smile, Jaime could always bring a smile to anyone's face. Always cheerful, he loved to joke around. He was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. His happiest days were spent with children of all ages, especially his grandchildren and, of course, his family, whom he treasured and had an unwavering love for. He adored all his relatives but he had a special bond with his five grandchildren and all his nieces and nephews in Washington, California, and the Philippines. As his nephew Lito once put it, "Every time we get together it feels like I'm celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve even if it is only July. He really brings joy with his presence".
We love you and we will miss you so very much, Nee, Papa, Grandpa, Kuya/Uncle/Tito Jaime, Elvis, Jimboy, Jim, Jimmy...."handsome Jaime".
"Power Hug" from your loving family.
