James Merritt Douglas, Sr., 94, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, in Seattle, WA. He was born Sep. 24, 1915 in Canton, MS, but has been a resident of this area for 50+ years. James is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ora M. Dougglass; two grandchildren, James Merritt Douglass, III (Connie) and David Douglass; two great grandchildren, ad a sister, Marie Dotson of Canton, MS.
