James Klotz, son of Hope Moore Klotz and Lawrence Klotz, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026, surrounded by his two daughters Jennifer and Stacy his son-in-law Lloyd and bonus daughter Meleah. He will be missed by his grandchildren whom he adored: Chase (and his wife Alea), Lewis, and Julian.
He had many lives: He was a protestor in the 60's, cofounded Blossom (an organization for marijuana rights), and fought for women's rights as well. He worked for Seattle City Light. He was an author and an avid researcher. He loved Whidbey Island, where he spent his summers with his family and life long friends. He will be missed.
