James Alexander Mackay,
age 81 was born October 13, 1922 in Golden, B.C. to James Alexander Mackay and Elizabeth Nelson Green.
He passed away July 26, 2004 in his Bothell home, surrounded by his family.
James is survived by his beloved wife Virginia, daughter Bonnie husband Enrique Olvera of Bothell, son Jim wife Annette Mackay of Bothell, daughter Tami husband James Kowalkowski of Duvall, daughter Colleen husband David Alderman of Bothell, daughter Donna husband Arty Seibert of Bothell, son Robert Mackay of Bothell. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren: Jeanette and Alicia Mackay; Rami and Amber Mackay; Nani, James "Jimbo" and Colleen Mackay; Jina, Sara, Joshua, and Krista Kowalkowski; Melody, Savannah and Micah Alderman; Hannah and Megan Seibert; and six siblings: sister Eileen Brown, Brother Roy Mackay, sister Doris Schaal, sister Grace DeHate, brother Don Mackay, and brother Pat Mackay and an aunt Winnie Wardman. He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Kalani.
James was honorably discharged from the US Navy, and continued his career in Marine Construction.
