

Jean was born Nov. 28, 1936 in Spokane, WA. She grew up in Seattle and attended Queen Anne High School. She moved to Ohio and raised her children there. She and her husband, Gene, moved back to Washington and after his death, she built her dream beach home in Pacific Beach and loved spending time on the beach.
Jean will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her unconditional love of family, her sense of humor, and her golden touch in the garden. She was a talented artist, wrote poetry and limericks, and quilted. She loved the Lord and showed that love to her kids, grandkids, and friends with everything she did. Her bright spirit will be greatly missed.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Gene McClure, her brother Neal McInnis, and her step son Marc McClure. She is survived by her children Sheree Dreewes, Teri Sams, Tami Harris, and Gifford Neil as well as her sister Sharon Gerdes, stepson Scott McClure, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on May 31 at Lake City Community Church, 8810 Lawndale Avenue SW, Lakewood WA 98498.
