August 23, 1970 – December 13, 2025
Jeffrey Alan Jewett, 55, passed away at his home the evening of Saturday, December 13, 2025 after an extended illness. Even though his illness left him physically, and sometimes mentally challenged, he continued to tackle tasks and projects right to the very end.
Jeffrey was born at West Seattle Hospital, Seattle Washington to Randy Elliott Jewett and Linda Marie (Armfield) Jewett. Other than a few short work adventures, he spent his entire life living and working in West Seattle, graduating from West Seattle High School, and purchasing his first home from his grandfather, John H. Armfield (another long-time West Seattle resident). It was a house on 35th Avenue SW, constructed by a great, great Uncle. One time or another it was called home by four generations of Jeffrey’s family, something that meant a lot to him.
Jeffrey worked in a number of trades prior to his career working in the Heating/Air Conditioning Industry. He owned and operated West Seattle Heating and Air up until his illness prevented him from working. He had a passion for most anything mechanical – cars, boats, bicycles, etc – a passion he held onto until his passing.
Jeffery is survived by his father Randy, step-mother Wendy Jewett, his mother Linda, and her partner Michael Jeppesen. He also shared two daughters, Jersey and Jacksey Jewett, with his ex-wife Jo (Vadakin) Jewett, three step-sisters, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Amongst his many friends, he had two – Floyd and Brent – who really showed their friendship as his health failed.
Close friends and family hope to have a gathering in his honor sometime this spring.
Jeffrey Alan Jewett was a good man. He was loved by many and greatly missed.
