Jeff had many disabilities to us, not him and was a great educator during his 46 years -- he taught patience and the meaning of love; only asking in return the respect and love that he gave. Jeff loved all music from Raffi to gospel, the livelier the better, and took great pleasure in his one-finger piano duets with Mom. His favorite treat was a van ride and milkshake with Dad; their "bonding" time. He attended public school, graduated in 1982, and was a blue ribbon Special Olympian. Jeff was also a great communicator ... through his expressive blue eyes until blindness in August 2007, wide-open arms, noses of love, and directing you with a point of the finger. He had the inner strength to conquer many bouts of illness and hospital stays.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Cliff and Dorothy of Bothell, many aunts and uncles, and dozens of cousins. We wish to thank the many doctors who truly cared about Jeff, his in-home nurses for their love and tender care of Jeff, Lincare and Rite-Aid Pharmacy staff.
