Jennifer M. Matthews was born October 16, 1971 in Bellevue WA and passed away on July 19, 2006 surrounded by her beloved dog Zoe, family and several friends in her final days and hours. She bravely fought an eight year battle with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare cancer.
She was loved by many and will be surely missed. Jen graduated from Sammamish High Class of 89'. She was a talented artist and was passionate in restoring Karman Ghia's. Jen was a member of the local Volkswagen club.
She is survived by parents, Janet and Jack both of Kirkland; Sister Alicia; three nephews of Mountlake Terrace and Zoey, her beloved dog. Thank you to all who stood by her and who offered her hope and prayers. Thanks to both Dr's Rockhill and Livingston and staffs, at both UW and The Seattle Cancer Alliance.
Mass to be held on Friday July 28 at 7:00 PM at St. Brendans Catholic Church in Bothell, WA. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Adenoid Research Fund or Providence Hospice, Seattle.
