Jimmie Masao Akizuki of Seattle, Washington passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at the age of 90. Born in Seattle, WA. Jimmie spent three years at the Minidoka Internment Camp in Idaho before serving in the Military Intelligence Service for three years. After the war, Jimmie worked as a self-employed landscaper until his retirement. Jimmie loved golfing, bowling, baseball, volleyball and fishing. He was a member of the Seattle Buddhist Church and Garden Association. His oldest sister, Chiyoko Kawamoto, and older brother Harry preceded him in death. Jimmie is survived by his older sister, Shigeko Sudo and his two sons, David (June) Akizuki and Doug Akizuki and numerous nieces and nephews.
