Was born 12/18/1938 in Sand Point, Idaho, and died 9/16/2016 in Puyallup, Washington. She is survived by three sons Brian, Bruce and David; three grandchildren Kyle, Christyne and Ashlee; and one great-grandson Remington Eli Nicholas.
Born to Myrtle (Hanson) and Irving Kitts, she lived for many years in Washington having graduated Bothell High School in 1957. She moved with husband and sons to Vacaville, California in 1972, divorced 1981, and after retirement returned to Everett in 2005. Joan survived the deaths of her parents and two siblings Loretta and Gary.
Joan had a fondness for watching westerns and reading mystery books. In her last years she enjoyed reading family genealogy and creating photo albums documenting family history for her children.
