John O. "Jack" KINSEY, age 84, of Bothell, passed away on January 8, 2009. Mr. Kinsey was born in Dunkard Township, Pennsylvania on September 25, 1924, and was raised in Ohio. At age 17, Jack enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and began a proud 30 year career in service to his country. Jack continued to sail with NOAA for 12 years as Chief Quartermaster before retiring in 1990. Mr. Kinsey is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Louise; children, Kathleen Joe Hasenauer, Michael Toni Ann Kinsey, Coleen Doug Sherman, Tim Vickie Kinsey, Brian Terry Kinsey, Dennis LuAnn Kinsey, Kevin Marian Kinsey; grandchildren, David, Megan, Shannon, Ashleigh, Cristina, Julie, Rachel and Sandra; great granddaughter, Sofia; brother, James Kinsey and sister, Patricia Vinickas. Jack is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St. Brendan Catholic Church at 10100 NE 192nd Street, Bothell, WA 98011.
