1922-2002
John passed away peacefully after a long illness. Born in Minneapolis to Ellis and Ida Putnam. Lived in Seattle and bellevue his entire life. A manufacturers representative in Alaska and Washington, he was President of the Del Fett Co. of Seattle. A graduate of the U.of W. and an avid Husky fan also a proud alumni of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. John was a W.W.II Navy pilot and loved to travel! John was preceded in death by his parents and survived by former wife Marty Putnam, their daughter Pam Putnam and son Kirk Putnam and his wife Laurie, grandchildren Rebecca, Scott, Eric, and great-grandson Nicholas. And by loving nieces and nephews Dawn, Dana, Kevin, Tom, Ted, Holly, Laury, Kathy, John, and Debbie.
A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellevue at 2:00pm, Friday, February 22, 2002. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to a favorite charity or The American Cancer Society.
