At a young age his father introduced him to the sport of racing. He and his father had a passion for quarter midgets and that transpired into a love of cars and the sport of racing.
Jon was creative and he loved to draw and sketch. He also loved to cook and try out new things and loved to take on new adventures. When he would take on a task or a job he did it 100%.
His greatest gift would be his charisma.. He had the ability to make people feel comfortable and wanted. Jon always had a story or joke to tell. His laughter would fill a room and bring smiles to the people around him. He had a way of talking to people. In conversations he would give you all of himself, you felt like you were talking to your best friend and confidant. He seemed to make a friend wherever he went and truly treasured the friends that he had. No time or distance broke the bonds we made with him. He loved life and enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer. His laughter and presence will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Jon was a son who loved his mother dearly and a brother who loved his sister, Jill. He was also an uncle who loved to play with his nephews, Joshua and Jeremy. But, most importantly he was a father to three wonderful boys: Dylan, Scott, and Cam. If he could have handed them the moon he would have. Now, from above he can. He will be there guiding star in their dark nights and bright days. He will be here in his son's eyes and in their laughter.
Although he has left this world, he has given us gifts that we will forever treasure. We will carry his memories with us forever. Jon will always be here to watch over those he touched. Jon Lund, we love you!
