Little did anyone know when Jo was born on 11/5/1947, she would have to become a strong, independent woman at a young age. Jo overcame any obstacle in her way. She graduated from Garfield High School in June, 1965 and eventually graduated from Western Washington University.
She had award winning work in the insurance industry. She also did her patriotic duty, as she was dedicated to help people vote. She was a hard working single mother. She was an avid Seahawks fan! Jo was also a friend that you could talk to and confide in. And she always had an open ear for everyone.
Jo is survived by her son Lamar, grandson Israel, brother Ricky, and many other loved ones. Jo will be greatly missed here on earth, but will live on in our hearts forever.
