Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a world traveler and an avid reader, and was curious and empathetic of everyone she encountered. She loved her church and retirement communities. Her concern for others led her to generously support programs for persons in vulnerable conditions throughout her life.
Joyce is survived by Earl, her husband of 67 years, and their daughters Christy and Jill and their families.
A Memorial service will be held at Magnolia Presbyterian Church, 3051 28th Ave West, Seattle, on February 25, 2017 at 2pm.
