She kept busy by working in her yard. Neighbors would comment about how often they would see her outside working. Joyce was a member of the Lake Hills Garden Club many years ago. Flowers bloomed almost year round in her garden.
Wildlife provided entertainment for her and she tried to create ways for the chipmunks to get food away from the squirrels. Joyce was known for picking up a spider in the house and taking it outside so it could find a new home. She believed all creatures deserved a chance to survive in this world.
She is survived by her 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Services will be held at the Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home in Bothell on August 25th at 11:00 am Memorials may be made to PAWS.org.
