

Born in Iowa in 1946, Judith moved with her family to Seattle, Washington, at age five. Teaching was her passion, and she dedicated much of her career to Holy Names Academy (HNA). A committed lifelong learner, she earned her Master’s degree in her 50s and achieved her Doctor of Education at age 60. In recognition of her dedication to her students, she was named HNA’s Distinguished Teacher of the Year in 2008.
Judith was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Hall, in 1987. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with him.
She is survived by her sister, JoLynn Maginal (Randy); her daughter, Micheline Palmer (Ron); her sons, Garrett Hall and Jake Hall (Calysta); and her grandson, Carlo.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Parish, followed by a reception across the street at Eagan Hall.
