Judy passed away on February 6th, 2016 in Seattle at the age of 83. She was born on July 27, 1932 in Orange, NJ, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Bard. She attended Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA and graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN. Judy married Kenneth R. Mitchell and they enjoyed 37 years of marriage until his death in 1991. Together they moved westward across the United States, eventually landing in Seattle in 1985. Seattle (and Edmonds) truly became home for her. Judy is survived by her son, David (Shannon), two daughters, Susan (Ralph) and Cathy, and grandchildren, Timothy, Stephen (Katie), Sarah and Emily.
