Julie Walker, age 106 heeded her savior's call to join her husband, Pearl and daughter Grace Evans, in their eternal home. She is survived by her sister Alma Hestekind, daughter Rosella Smith, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children. She was an honored teacher starting her career in one room schools in North Dakota, & Oregon and retired from "city schools" in Bremerton, WA. A teller of great stories and will be missed by many. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1pm at Evergreen Washelli cemetery. Viewing will be held prior to service at Evergreen Washelli funeral home.
