June Marie Turner, 57, passed away 8/3/2010, in Mission, Texas. She was born 10/25/1952 to Norma Cottingham and Wilmot Turner, in Seattle, Washington. She also lived for a few years in Las Vegas, Nevada and Norfolk, Virginia. June's nickname was Junebug.
She was willing to show unconditional love to friends and family. Her amicable personality allowed her to befriend anyone she came in contact with. She was always honest and open about her thoughts. Her hobbies included doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and watching Nascar. She also volunteered at the local Food Bank. However, what she really loved more than anything was spending time with her two granddaughters. Anyone that knew her well enough knows she loved collecting anything from Betty Boop, Nascar and I Love Lucy.
In the few times when she didn't agree with something, she would laughingly say "kiss my toe."
She is survived by: her children Jason Turner and Melissa Rowton; her granddaughters Michelle Turner and Emily Turner; and her mother Norma; and her siblings Linda, Barbara, Ed and Rob.
