I have so many happy memories of my cousin June. Over the past 19 years we spent so much time together a lot of people thought we were an item!. We live in a beautiful part of the world with the coast and countryside on our doorstep so we had plenty to do and lots of places to go. We had 2 memorable holidays in Switzerland a place we both love and each year had a caravan holiday with my sister and sometimes June's sister Jo. June has given me friendship and companionship and so many memories that make me smile and sometimes make me laugh out loud that I thank her, love her and will never ever forget her. Mum,

I will always remember and treasure the times we had together. We did a lot of traveling over the years and made so many happy memories but I'm particularly glad that we got to go back and visit Switzerland again. There will always be a piece of our family that lives there and I hope that Jo, Sam and I will get to go back one day.

I was so glad that we got to spend the last 10 months here with you in Seattle and that you got to see us every day. I'm glad that you got to go out with us every week and be a part of the world again.

I hope that, more than anything, you were as happy to be with us as we were to be with you.

You made me the person I am and I hope that I made you proud.

I wish I'd had the time to tell you all the things I wanted to say but I guess we tend to take some of those things for granted and you always think your parents will be around forever. I don't think anyone could have had better parents or a better childhood than I did. You always allowed me to forge my own path in the world and were there to catch me when things didn't work out. There are just no words to say how much I will miss you.
