Born on December 13, 1941, in Seoul, Korea, Jung Woo lived a life marked by love, faith, and devotion to his family. In the late 1970s, he immigrated to Seattle, driven by a deep desire to provide a better life for his family and to support his siblings in their academic and professional pursuits.
He is survived by his wife, Kyung Sook Kim; daughter, Heather Mi-Kyung Bresnahan; son-in-law, Jacob Bresnahan; two cherished grandchildren, Dorothy Ji-Kyung and Rodderick Ji-Seong and his youngest brother Jung Han. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Shawn Seon-Kyung Kim.
