Kathy grew up in Seattle and attended Mercer Island High School. She later attended the University of Washington and joined the sorority Sigma Kappa. While at the University she met her future husband Paul H. MacDuff at the fraternity across the street. They later were married in 1973. She raised two children; a son and daughter.
She later joined Windermere Real Estate and enjoyed the challenges of the housing market in Seattle for 30 years. Kathy is survived by her husband Paul, mother Esther Yellam, brother Robert R.Yellam, sister Janet Yellam Ferguson, son Joey MacDuff, daughter Gina MacDuff, and granddaughters Harper and Emery.
To honor her life, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Washington Women's Volleyball Team or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA). Services will be private.
