OBITUARY

Kylene Dawn Knapp

September 10, 1959October 5, 2019

Kylene was born September 10, 1959 in Palo Alto, California. She lived in many places in her life- Oahu, Hawaii; Stockton, California; Reno, Nevada; Redmond, Washington; Lake Forest Park and Bothell, Washington. She graduated from Shorecrest High School in 1977 and has retained many friends from her early years and has gathered more along the way.

She worked in many areas of the restaurant world, waitressing, bartending, and up through management. Her outgoing sparkly personality garnered her skills when she was working with the Sign Industry. Her clients trusted her and she made sure they were well taken care of. Her last job was in her own neighborhood, managing the Hollyhills Clubhouse in conjunction with the HOA.

Animals were a huge part of her life: Charlie, Pippy, Baxter, Gracie, Zoe, Misha, and Simon. Gracie is in a new loving home in Seattle and Simon is now loving life at Mason Lake.

Through the years she remained true to her friends. Girls Weekend was held twice a year. At the end, she was surrounded by her GW girls and so much love. We will miss her infectious laugh and smile. She was the most loving, supportive, and vibrant person you could ever meet. She always made it known how much she loved you and her warm smile and tight hugs were so comforting. She was our bright light. She was preceded in death by her father Clyde Knapp. Though she had no children, she was “Auntie” to many of her friends’ and family’s children.

Kylene leaves to cherish her memory her mother Vicki Foster, sister Dawn Rogers, brothers Tom (Kim) and Jim Foster, Marilyn (daughter Jenna) Nunes, and niece Joanna (daughter Tessa) Allan. She was my beautiful girl and still is.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hollyhills Club House: 19200 Hollyhills Dr. NE, Bothell, WA 98011 on Saturday, November 2, 2019 @ 2:00 PM.
