Larry B. May

April 26, 1939 ? December 24, 2004

Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sally Ann Orrell May. He leaves behind one son, Elliot Bonita, three daughters, Gavin Eckard, Heidi Westphal Paul, and Teresa Canfield. Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Lucille May. He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren and his faithful friend, Frango. Larry spent the early years of his life running along the banks and hills surrounding the Entiat River. His family moved to Western Washington where Larry attended Evergreen High School in Burien. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. He won a vintage 1948 Babe Ruth bat in a drawing in 2000 and traveled throughout Washington State, sharing it with school children and little leaguers, enlightening them on the history of the bat and ?the Babe.? He was a Teamster for 32 years and worked at System Transfer. Larry will forever be remembered for his kind spirit, generosity and humor. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Larry?s life on Sunday, January 9th at 1:00 PM. For further information on the location of the service, please contact an immediate family member.
