80, passed away peacefully, November 25, 2005. Leon was born October 16, 1925 in Cambridge, Maryland. He was a long time resident of the Edmonds area and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Leon enjoyed helping people and volunteered at the Edmonds Senior Center Food Bank. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Lucille; four children, David Fran Hurley, Patricia Brian Keene, Nancy Warren McPherson, Larry Hurley; sister, Ann Carpenter; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, Brenda Flemming, Diane Meredith, nephew, Lee Murphy; two aunts, Louise Saunders, Agnes Wanex and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 ? 7:00pm at Evergreen-Washelli, Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Funeral will be at 12:00, Wednesday, November 30, at Evergreen-Washelli Chapel, 11111 Aurora Ave. N. Seattle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South County Senior Center in Edmonds and/or Todays Church, www.todayschurch.org.
