Lee Franklin Straube, 60, of Bothell, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born March 16, 1954 in Compton, CA, the son of Leroy and Dorothy (Humbard) Straube. Passionate about baseball, Lee spent 22 summers on the diamond as general manager with the Food Giant & Lakeside Recovery Baseball programs and was part of nine state championship teams, fulfilling a lifelong dream of going to the Senior Legion World Series. He enjoyed going to spring training, loved college football and baseball and was a fan of NASCAR. Lee was a dedicated employee of Hinds-Bock Corporation for over 20 years. He is survived by his son, Joshua Straube; his father; sister, Cathey DuBois and husband Brent, two nephews, Michael and Christopher DuBois and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother. Rest in peace, Lee. May the Baseball Gods give you a front row seat. Your friendship to all will be missed and never forgotten.
