Born to Edith Loffler and Karl Jurke in Vienna Austria.
Immigrated to the US staying one step ahead of the Nazis, via Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal sponsored by her uncle Otto Loffler.
Survived by her children Marilyn Carl and Michael Arnstein, grandchildren Stephanie Carl, Nicholas Arnstein and Alex Arnstein, loving partner Carmine Pecoraro of 26 years and her dog Tony.
