Lilly Wong Lee
June 10, 1925 – June 22, 2018
Lilly Chinn Wong Lee passed away gently June 22, 2018 two weeks after her 93rd birthday. She was the oldest American born daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Sing Chinn,imigrants from Toishan, China. Born in Seattle and a lifetime resident. She completed her education at Broadway High School on Capital Hill.
Lilly had a kind and gentle disposition and a cheerful smile. She loved to dance. She loved her huge extended family and was a cheerful presence at family events.
Lilly was married to the late Gordon Lew Wong and the late Harry Lee. She is survived by her siblings Edith Eng (deceased), Margaret Woo, Sally Soo and brothers Yick and Nina Chinn,David and Chrissy Chinn and their spouses. She was the mother of four children Wylie, Gary , Sharon Gee Gee (deceased) and Michael and Stephanie and grandson's Ryan and Colin Wong. She is fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews as well as family friends.
In her memory an artwork will be donated to the new Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park
