Ling Chun Chue passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2025, in Seattle, Washington. He was born on July 29, 1927, in Canton, China, but has been a resident of Seattle for over 12 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Katie Wong Chue, four sons and three daughters-in-laws, Jack Man Ching and Celia Chin Chue of Los Altos, California, Harry Man Tat and Winnie Chue of Alameda, California, Ben Man Fai Chue of Seattle, Washington, and Tom Man Wei and Annie Peng Chue of San Francisco, California; grandson and fiancée, Jonathan Matthew Chue and Lisette Lopez of Los Angeles, California, and granddaughter, Sarah Michelle Chue of Los Altos, California.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, Washington, on May 2, 2025, at noon.
