
Age 75 - Born in Oak Park Illinois on June 24th, 1939 and was a resident of Kirkland,Washington until her passing on November 2, 2014. She died in her sleep of Arteriosclerotic heart disease.
She was born at West Suburban Hospital to August and Martha Blix in Oak Park, Illinois and was an only child. She attended school and resided in Oak Park. It was there she met her husband William Cotterell Sr. at Judson Baptist Church and married at the age of 16. Bill enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and they traveled while having their first two sons, William Jr, and Robert. Upon returning to Oak Park to reside in civilian life, Bill and Lois had two more sons, Bradley and Bryan. After a few years they moved from the Chicago suburb to Kirkland, Washington where they continued to raise their sons.
Later, she served and assisted the staff of the Billy Graham Crusades as well as other faith based institutions and churches. She attended Eastside Foursquare Church for over 2 decades. She worked at Boeing in the law department for 15 years where she retired.
She is survived by 3 of her sons, William, Robert, and Bryan as well as 2 grand children: Devon and Deanna. She gave willingly to all her sons, and grandchildren and always encouraged them in their pursuits, and ministered to them in their trials. She rested on the word of God, and did her best to love everyone she came in contact with.
