I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your son, brother, husband and grandson.  My thoughts are with you. My one and only son is only a couple of years younger and I can not imagine what it would be like to be without him in my lifetime. Julie, I am at a loss for words, the day the staff told me Lonnie was no longer working for Wades was a sad day for me, but there was always the hope that I would walk in one day and see him there behind the counter to have him look up and say his usual "Hi Jen". More days than not, my trips to Wades were because Lonnie ALWAYS made time to talk, ask me how I was doing.... he cared, he was a friend. I was devastated to hear on Friday of the accident. The hope of ever seeing him and hearing those words are gone and I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Lonnie outside of the store but since 96, my first time in, he was ALWAYS someone that I looked forward to seeing and talking with, even if we did joke about how little he used to give me on trade in guns. :o

He was a wonderful person and there's a spot in my heart for him. If you need anything, you know how to reach me.

Lonnie has an infectious smile and a winning personality. Although we were not close friends, he always welcomed me like a lost brother. My prayers are with you and your family. Lonnie will be missed.
