Loretta Lee Metzger passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from lymphoma. She lived an independent life for 91 years and 2 months. She was born in Marquette, Kansas on Feb. 3, 1934. When she was 3, her family (father, mother, 2 brothers and a dog) moved the Bellingham, WA. She also lived in Seattle, WA; Long Beach, CA and Guam. Loretta loved to travel, having been twice to Israel and 49 of 50 states.
Loretta loved God and had a deep faith in Jesus. She loved to share her faith with friends and family.
She leaves 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter (who was born on her 89th birthday). She was much loved and we miss her greatly.
God's plan for her was loving and merciful. He definitely answered prayers.
