It is with deepest sorrow that our family shares the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Margaret Babich. She passed peacefully surrounded by family.
Born in the tiny village of Villanova di Valdarsa, Italy in June of 1935. Moving to Brooklyn, New York with her mother Luigia and siblings Gino, Lorenzo and Igea Yurman in 1956. She married her husband John in 1961 and they moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where Patricia, Christine and John Jr. were born. In 1968 the family moved to Yakima, Washington, and then moved one more time to Seattle, Washington in the mid 90’s to be closer to their children.
Mom lived an amazing life, always doting on her family and friends.
We deeply miss her and will carry her love with us always.
Margaret will be laid to rest in private ceremony for the immediate family at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park, Seattle.
A celebration of life memorial is being planned for Summer 2025, check back for service updates.
